The first step in celebrating New Year is to be happy.

I know.

I’m a social media junkie and a total masochist, so when I find myself wishing I were on top of a hill instead of in a bathtub, I feel a lot better.

So here are some tips for celebrating New Years Eve without dancing: 1.

Get up early.

The morning of the New Year starts at 7 a.m. in the United States, but it’s a good idea to get up early to catch the early morning sun and enjoy the New York City sun.

2.

Go to the movies.

If you’re not a moviegoer, you’re missing out.

New Year in New York is an especially good time to catch some early New Year movies.

Some of the best movies to see in the Big Apple are:The Legend of Tarzan (1984)andThe Last of the Mohicans (1986)A Christmas Story (1940)andIt Happened One Night (1947) 3.

Get a taxi.

Taxi drivers love New Year, and they love New Yorkers too.

Try the taxi app TaxiX to get a free ride from your favorite cab company.

If the fare is $30, you’ll get a taxi for free.

If your fare is less than $30 you can still get a cab for $50.

4.

Have some fun.

You’re going to want to get as much sun as you can.

If it’s too hot, wear a long sleeve shirt and a hat to block out the sun.

If this is your first New Year you might want to consider wearing a scarf to block the sun in your hair.

And if you’re feeling like you’ve been waiting a long time, do a quick Google search on the weather and choose to see if you can catch a glimpse of the sun on a window ledge.

If not, try a picnic blanket to get shade.

5.

Get some coffee.

There are many different coffee options to choose from.

If a cafe offers a cold brew, grab one.

If Starbucks has a cold cup, grab a coffee with it.

If an ice cream shop offers a vanilla latte, grab that too.

You don’t want to go cold turkey when you have a cold one on hand.

And, of course, there are plenty of ice cream shops around New York.

6.

Put on some dance moves.

Whether you’re dancing with a friend or dancing in your living room, the more you dance, the better.

Just make sure you’re using your feet.

There is no shame in putting on some dancing moves if you like it. 7.

Have a glass of champagne.

It’s the perfect way to end the year.

Just don’t drink too much.

8.

Be yourself.

No matter how much you love the weather or the city, you can’t avoid a little bit of self-reflection.

Whether it’s watching the weather forecast or dancing with friends, remember to take some time to yourself.

And be happy!

9.

Spend some time alone.

You can’t really do much for yourself without a little help from someone.

A good way to do that is to take a walk.

It can be relaxing, especially when you’re a little drunk.

Some great walks in New Year are: The Last of The Mohicans, The Legend of Tricky Dick, and The Adventures of Captain Beefheart.

10.

Spend a night out.

If New Year Eve is already on the horizon, why not have a little fun?

If you want to spend a night in New Yorks best hotels, there’s no better time than New Year on the town.

For example, the Hotel St. Regis is known as the “King of New York.”

It is also the most expensive hotel in the city and the best location for a late-night date.

If that doesn’t appeal to you, there is always the nearby Hotel Stapleton.
