I’ll be back for more dance belt gifs, because the dance belt is still here, and it’s all in the form of GIFs.
But first, a few things.
If you missed the last two GIFs from my dance belt collection, here’s a quick recap.
In the first, Ellie Gouldings dance from her new album, The Hunting Ground, is accompanied by the iconic dance song “Til It Takes A Villager.”
In the second, Ellie and Kelly Clarkson dance from their hit video for “It Takes a Village.”
The dance belt has been featured in countless videos, including the one above, and there’s more to come.
But before you throw up your hands in exasperation, I want to tell you a little about how this dance belt came to be.
When I was a kid, I would have to take my dance shoes off every time I walked into a store, and when I got home, I’d wear them for weeks at a time.
But as I got older, I started wearing my dance belts more and more, because it gave me something to hold onto, like, “It’s not like I’m going to go to the store and be like, ‘Hey, this thing is my dance-belt!'”
Ellie Gould is a legend in the dance world, and while her dance belt hasn’t been in my closet for nearly two decades, it’s still in the shape of a ring, and Ellie is proud of the work she did in the design process.
She said the original design was meant to be wearable as a pair of leggings, but after her daughter was born, the designers wanted to try something a little different.
Ellie Gould told us she wanted her dance belts to look like “a real person,” and that the inspiration for the ring came from an article that came out of the Smithsonian Magazine in 1998, about a man who was diagnosed with cancer.
When he was in the hospital, Ellie discovered a ring with his name on it.
And when Ellie got married, she found herself in the same situation.
“And I was like, I need a real person for my dance, too,” Ellie Gould explained.
“So I got the idea for a ring.”
In addition to the ring, Ellie has also been involved in the creation of a dance belt for a woman named Rachel.
In fact, the ring is a reference to Rachel, the character on Friends who uses a dance ring as a prop to communicate with her boyfriend.
And while I love the idea of Ellie Gould singing, I do wish she had included some sort of dance ring in the ring.
The best part is that the ring has the ring’s creator, Ellie, in the picture.
In her own words, Ellie told us, “This ring has my name on the front, and Rachel has her name on her back.
I got Rachel’s name from my sister.
So it’s my little sister, Rachel, and I get to have a ring that I’m very proud of.”
I mean, come on, Ellie.
You’ve only been in the world of music for two years.
You can’t have one of those little sisters.
But that’s okay, because I’ve got a ring to show you.
Now, I’m ready for you to take a look at the ring in question.
The first step was to find the right materials.
The only materials I could find were the original ones Ellie Gould Gould had made herself and a pair she made of the original materials.
To make the ring more wearable, Ellie took a step back from her dance ring and decided to use an old pair of jeans as the template.
Then, the band came into play.
She put some fabric around the front of the belt, and added a pair to the back.
The final step was finding a ring material that would allow the ring to flex.
That’s when Ellie found out that there were many different materials that could be used to make a ring.
Ellie explained that the material that came closest to her ideal ring material was an elastic band, but she also realized that there could be a material that didn’t require an elastic at all.
So she found a company called Gildan that made an elastic that was 100% flexible, and the ring itself was made of some type of metal.
Ellie said that the final look of the ring would be based on her experience with the elastic band she used for her dance rings.
The Gildans ring material also made it easy to cut out the ring pieces, which Ellie said was the hardest part of the process.
The actual cutting was a little more difficult, Ellie said, because she had to cut a lot of the pieces.
So Ellie used a very delicate needle and thread cutter, which she said was easier to use than a saw, and then she went into the sewing room to find some materials. Then
